Soon, the Center of Social Innovation at the University of Łódź (CEIN) will begin implementing the project Bravely for Innovation: A Program for Educating Social Innovators in the Visegrad Countries, which has received funding from the International Visegrad Fund.
CEIN, represented by Dr. hab. Katarzyna Zajda, Prof. UŁ (project leader), serves as the las the consortium leader. The Research and Dissemination Coordinator of the project is MA Martyna Jarota.
The project team also includes representatives from the following institutions:
- Creativity Center, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia): Danka Moravčíková
- Institute of Applied Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Miskolc (Hungary): Kinga Szabó-Tóth
- University of Economics and Business in Prague (Czech Republic): Katarína Krpálková Krelová and Kateřina Berková
The main challenge addressed by the Bravely for Innovation project is the low level of social innovation implementation in the V4 countries.
In this era of a risky society, characterized by rapid social changes and increasingly complex problems, the role of social innovations is becoming more and more important. Social innovations are primarily implemented by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in collaboration with other stakeholders.
The project will run from March 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027.
